Area high school graduates Jess Lorence and Casey Hubbell lifted host Tompkins Cortland Community College (8-7) to a victory.
Lorence (Unadilla Valley) converted a pass from Courtney Henry a little more than a minute into the match, marking the third straight game she has scored inside the first five minutes.
Lorence also assisted Kristen Cleveland in the 11th minute for a 2-0 lead. Hubbell (Margaretville) made it 3-0 off a pass from Lorence in the 51st minute.
SUNY Delhi's Rebecca Scherer broke up the shutout bid in the 56th minute, when she scored off a pass from Stephanie Shellman (Downsville).
Sandi Decker (Unatego) marked Shellman throughout for the Panthers, who beat the Broncos (5-7) despite getting outshot, 14-12.

SUNYIT junior Jane Burroughs scored two unassisted goals to break the program's all-time goals record in a North Eastern Athletic Conference home win.
Burroughs has 26 all-time goals, one better than former record-holder Brittany Aversa, a 2007 graduate. Burroughs also leads the Wildcats in all-time points (65) and is tied for the program's all-time assists lead with 13.
On Wednesday, she floated goals over Cobleskill keeper Beth Nearing (eight saves) at the 25- and 30-minute marks. The Wildcats, who received three saves from Cynthia DeLeon, finished with a 23-4 advantage in shots.

Betsey Breaznell and Christina Sorrentino led host Hartwick (4-6) to a sweep in a non-conference match against Wells (0-3) that was moved indoors to SUNY Delhi's Clark Center because of poor weather.
Breaznell and Sorrentino won their first- and third-singles matches, respectively, in straight sets before teaming up for an 8-1 win at first doubles.
The Hawks, who dropped one game in doubles play, will finish a suspended match at Oneonta State at 4 p.m. today.
