A 1991 Schoharie Central School graduate and Cobleskill native was found murdered Saturday in South Carolina, where he was driving a tractor-trailer truck, according to reports.
Arrests have been made in the death of Jason Rivenburg, 35, of Fultonham, though deputies have not released names, according to the website of WIS-TV in Columbia, S.C. A media conference has been set for today.
The motive was apparently robbery, as investigators think he stopped to rest and someone robbed him, the website reported.
The Calhoun County coroner's office said Rivenburg died Thursday of a gunshot to the head, according to the report.
He is survived by his wife, Hope, and a 23-month-old son, Joshua. The couple were expecting twins, according to a report on the website of WRGB-TV in Albany.
