Jamal Little, a 6-foot-1, 160-pound guard, had a game-high 19 points to go along with 13 rebounds in leading SUNY Delhi to a 56-43 Mountain Valley Conference men's basketball victory over visiting Columbia Greene on Wednesday.
Little scored 14 points after halftime, when the Broncos extended a 25-17 lead to as many as 22 points. Little leads the Broncos in rebounding at 8 per game.
Forward Elliot Watson had 11 points, and point guard Spencer Bonneau contributed eight assists and five rebounds for Delhi.
The Broncos (15-15) will host a sub-regional game Tuesday. Delhi coach Rob Schoener said his team will be the seventh or eighth seed for the NJCAA Region III Tournament. Schoener said the pairings for the tournament will be released Sunday.
Keuka 51, Cobleskill 48
Peter Durr broke a 48-all tie by making a layup and drawing a foul with one second left in Keuka's non-conference win at home.
Andrei Lucas had 11 points, five rebounds, three steals, two blocks and two assists to lead Cobleskill (8-15). Haneef Scott contributed 10 points and Damon Franklin had nine for the Fighting Tigers.
Keuka is 8-14.
Keuka 56, Cobleskill 40
The visiting Fighting Tigers led, 21-19, at halftime before Keuka took control in the non-conference game.
Kaitlin Myers had 13 points and eight rebounds to lead Cobleskill (15-7). Teammate Tanayzha Augustine contributed 10 points and six rebounds.
Jessica Fink had 16 points to lead Keuka (15-7).
