The entire slate of high school sporting events scheduled for Wednesday was postponed because of the winter storm that hit the area.
Eleven girls basketball games, four boys basketball games, four volleyball matches, two bowling and two wrestling matches, and one swimming meet were wiped out.
Four basketball games were moved to today, including two at Morris. Franklin's boys will play Morris at 5:30 p.m., followed by the same teams playing a girls game at 7 p.m. The other games moved to today are South Kortright's girls traveling to Margaretville at 7 p.m. and Unatego hosting Bainbridge-Guilford at 6 p.m.
The other three boys games _ Oneonta High at Whitney Point; Cherry Valley-Springfield at Poland; and Harpursville at Delhi _ do not have makeup dates yet.
For girls basketball, Stamford's game at Downsville was moved to Jan. 26 and Gilbertsville-Mount Upton's home game against Schenevus will be played Feb. 11. There are no new dates for Davenport at Jefferson; Roxbury at Hunter-Tannersville; Worcester at Milford; Andes at Windham; Afton at Sidney; and Unadilla Valley at Oxford.
Sidney's volleyball match at Walton will be played Feb. 2. Volleyball matches pitting Cooperstown at Sherburne-Earlville; Bainbridge-Guilford at Afton; and Unatego at Delhi haven't yet been rescheduled.
In wrestling, Johnson City at Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton and Oneonta at Chenango Valley have not been rescheduled. The same is true for the two bowling matches: Bainbridge-Guilford at Walton and Sidney at Afton.
Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville's boys swimming meet at Sherburne-Earlville also has not been rescheduled.
