An Oneonta man was indicted last week for allegedly posing as his father to withdraw money from his father's account, according to court records.
Dennis L. Wiggins, 54, was indicted by an Otsego County grand jury on three counts of first-degree falsifying business records for allegedly withdrawing an undisclosed amount of cash March 13 and March 14.
That particular charge, a class E felony, was lodged because withdrawal slips are considered business records, according to the Otsego County District Attorney's office.
Wiggins was named in an indictment handed up Friday in Otsego County Court. He is being held at the Otsego County jail on $1,500 bail or $2,500 bond and is to appear in county court at a later date.
The following men were also charged in separate indictments Friday:
ä Zachary B. Baker, no age available, with three counts of third-degree rape. The incidents allegedly occurred in April and May in the town of Plainfield.
ä Theodore A. Hammer, 48, with two counts of DWI. The incident allegedly occurred March 9 in Unadilla.
ä Jason D. Marks, 24, with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and two counts of DWI. The incidents allegedly occurred March 25 in the town of Oneonta.
ä Alfred F. White, 55, with two counts of DWI. The incident allegedly occurred March 30 in the town of Butternuts.
