Meredith Ridgway scored all but two of her 16 points in the first half and Madie Harlem had 19 of her game-high 23 points after halftime to lead Oneonta High to a 51-39 girls basketball victory at Chenango Valley on Wednesday.

OHS (12-0) improved to 8-0 in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference.

Ridgway also had 11 rebounds for the Yellowjackets, who pulled away from a 38-33 lead after three quarters by outscoring the Warriors, 13-6, over the final eight minutes.

Harlem had 11 points in the final quarter.

"(CV was) really competitive and we didn't shoot the ball well," OHS coach Bob Zeh said. "We settled for too many threes."

Caitlin Roberts led CV with 13 points.

The Yellowjackets play host to Chenango Forks on Friday.
