ONEONTA _ A probation curfew check on an Oneonta city man led to his arrest on several drug charges Saturday, Otsego deputies said.

Daniel C. Kelsey, 47, was charged with third- and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, deputies said.

Kelsey was convicted of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in Otsego County Court on Nov. 26, 2006, and sentenced to five years' probation, according to deputies.

A search of his residence and person by deputies and probation department officials Friday produced the following: 21/2 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale, $1,448 in cash, six fentanyl patches, 15 hydrocodone tables and a glass crack pipe, deputies said.

He was arraigned Saturday and sent to Otsego County jail on $25,000 bail, deputies said.
