COOPERSTOWN _ In Otsego County Court Sept. 15 before Judge John Lambert, three indictments were handed up.

One charged Patrick C. DeAndrea, 18, of Oneonta with second-degree assault. According to court records, the incident occurred June 18 in the city of Oneonta.

DeAndrea is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 28.

A second indictment charged Brian H. Hulbert, 40, of Otego with two counts of driving while intoxicated. According to court records, the incident occurred May 14 in Otego.

Hulbert is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 1.

The third indictment charged Andrew V. McAdams, 21, with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny. According to court records, the incident occurred during March in Worcester.

McAdams is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 28.

In Otsego County Court Sept. 11 before Judge Brian Burns, Adrian K. Hoyt, Jr., 26, of Binghamton was sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years' probation for third-degree aggravated sexual abuse.

According to court records, the incident occurred Nov. 8, 2007, in the town of Otsego.

Hoyt was ordered to pay $1,370 in court fees and surcharges.

Also in court Sept. 11 before Judge Burns:

ä Christopher J. Callahan, 40, of Oneonta pleaded innocent at arraignment to a charge of first-degree rape and four counts of second-degree rape.

According to court records, the incidents occurred in the spring of 2007.

Callahan was jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail to await further court action.

ä Jason S. Wilson, 31, pleaded innocent at arraignment to charges of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree attempted sexual abuse. According to court records, the incidents occurred in 2002 and 2007.

Wilson was jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court Oct. 16.

ä Richard Winters, 23, of Oneonta was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison for fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance, cocaine.

According to court records, the incident occurred Oct. 21, 2008, in the city of Oneonta.

Winters also was sentenced to one-year post-release supervision, and he was ordered to pay $200 restitution and $375 in court fees.

ä Eugene J. DeCarlo, 29, of Copake was sentenced to two-to-four years in prison for second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

According to court records, the incident occurred March 28, 2008, in the village of Cooperstown.

DeCarlo was ordered to pay $989.71 in restitution and $320 in court fees.

ä Paige A. Shaul, 22, of Hartwick was sentenced to one-to-three years in prison for fourth-degree grand larceny.

According to court records, the incident occurred March 20 in the town of Hartwick.

Shaul was ordered to pay $375 in court fees.

ä Derek J. Wright, 19, of Unadilla was sentenced to one-to-three years in prison for second-degree attempted assault.

According to court records, the incident occurred Dec. 4, 2008, at the Otsego County Jail in Middlefield.

Wright was assessed $375 in court fees.

ä Piotr M. Pasciak, 21, of Worcester was sentenced to two years in prison with one-and-a-half years post-release supervision for second-degree attempted burglary.

According to court records, the incident occurred Feb. 5 in Westford.

Pasciak was ordered to pay $175 in restitution and $75 in court fees.

ä Wayne H. Gregory, 64, of Oneonta pleaded innocent at arraignment to second-degree assault.

According to court records, the incident occurred Oct. 26, 2008, in the city of Oneonta.

Gregory was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court Oct. 23.

ä Jeremy C. Ryan, 37, of Edmeston was sentenced to one year in jail for third-degree burglary.

According to court records, the incident occurred Sept. 22, 2007, in Exeter.

Ryan was assessed $320 in court fees.
