ONEONTA _ A 17-year-old Oneonta resident was arrested Monday in connection with a daytime break-in at a mobile home more than a year ago.
Albert E. Sternberg, a resident of the former Messina's Trailer Park at 5106 state Route 23, entered another mobile home at the park and stole a Playstation video game console, games, DVDs and movies, according to a media release from the Otsego County Sheriff's Office.
Sternberg was released Monday from the Otsego County jail, where he had been held on unrelated charges. But immediately after the release, deputies interviewed the teen and arrested him on second-degree burglary and petit larceny charges in connection with the mobile home break-in that occurred in March 2007.
Sternberg was jailed on $500 bail after his arraignment in Oneonta Town Court. He is to reappear June 19 in town court.
The teen faces up to 15 years in prison on the felony burglary charge.
