Jen Wehner had 17 points, 23 rebounds and five blocks as the Cooperstown girls basketball team rolled to an unbeaten regular season with a 58-28 thumping of Center State Conference foe Mount Markham on the road Thursday.

The Redskins (20-0, 10-0) led, 22-8 at halftime.

Samantha Fox contributed 14 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks for Cooperstown, which received eight points apiece from Katie Cring and Ashley Rowley. The Redskins are off until sectionals begin.

"It was a physical game and both teams were pressing," Stamford coach Lonnie Nickerson said. "It was just one of those games."

Sommers Gaddis scored 12 points and Shauna Rockwell 10 to lead Stamford (7-10), which plays host to Davenport on Saturday. Emma Stratigos had 13 rebounds.
