Reception to open CAA Show & Sale
COOPERSTOWN —The Cooperstown Art Association’s Holiday Show & Sale will open with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and close Dec. 23. Adorn-A-Door tickets for “Dinner’s On Us,” a week of gift certificates to local restaurants valued at $400 will be available at $10 each. FJam, dance planned in Unadilla
UNADILLA — Covered Bridge Gardens at 1532 Covered Bridge Road will host an acoustic bluegrass country jam from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9.
The following night, the venue will host a square dance featuring Doc Weismore with Real Country from 7 to 11 p.m.

Fundraising meals to feature lasagna
COOPERSTOWN — The Living Waters for the World Honduras Mission team of the First Presbyterian Church will host a lasagna dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at 25 Church St. in Cooperstown. Meals are $12 for adults and $8 for children younger than 10 and will include lasagna, salad, bread, a beverage and dessert. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. Takeouts will also be available. Proceeds will support the Living Waters Mission to Honduras in January to install a water purification system in the remote village of Las Mercedes. Donation dinner set in Schenevus
SCHENEVUS — The 52nd annual eat-in or takeout donation turkey dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Schenevus United Methodist Church at 66 Main St. in Schenevus.
County Grange to meet in Gilbertsville
GILBERTSVILLE —The Otsego County Pomona Grange will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Butternut Valley Grange Hall at 7 Bloom St. in Gilbertsville.
A lunch for Grangers attending will be served at noon by the Butternut Valley Grange members.
The afternoon meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with reports from the State Grange session recently held in Oneonta by local Grangers in the county who attended.
Auction donations top the 100 mark
MILFORD — The Class of 2019 at Milford Central School will host a Chinese auction featuring hundreds of items on Saturday, Nov. 10, in the school gymnasium.
The doors will open at 10 a.m. and drawings will start at 1 p.m. One must be present to win.
A concession stand will offer meals prepared in slow cookers and snacks.
