Holiday luncheon set by alumni group
SIXTH WARD — The SUCO Golden Alumni Holiday Luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Bella Michaels on River Street in Oneonta. Lunch will include roast turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, roasted vegetables, tossed salad, cranberry relish, beverage and desserts. It will be served at 12:15 p.m.
Joe McMullen will provide entertainment.
The cost of $15 should be paid in cash at the door. Reservations are due no later than Saturday, Dec. 7, to Marianna Leib at 607-432-8367.
Members are asked to bring canned goods and non-perishable foods to be donated to The Salvation Army.
Annual greens sale to be held Friday
DOWNTOWN — The Oneonta Federated Garden Club will host its annual greens sale and lunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at St. James’ Episcopal Church at 305 Main St. in Oneonta.
The sale will include fresh arrangements and wreaths, baked goods and lunch.
According to a media release, proceeds will be used to beautify downtown Oneonta.

Cookies and Crafts set for Saturday
DOWNTOWN — The annual Cookies and Crafts Fair will be featured from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Oneonta at 12 Ford Ave.
Featured will be crafts made by local artisans, plates of holiday cookies and a lunch option of corn chowder or chili.
