Pasta dinner entreeto be served at Elks
CHESTNUT STREET — A buffet-style dinner featuring pasta with meatballs, sausage links, peppers and onions, will be served at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Elks Lodge at 84 Chestnut St. in Oneonta.
Included will be soup, tossed salad, rolls, dessert and various beverages. Takeouts will be available.
The dinner is $12 for adults and $6 for children 8 to 13. Children younger than 8 may eat for free.

WEST END — A baked or fried fish dinner with baked potato or fries, coleslaw, beverage and dessert will be available to the public from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the Veterans Club at 279 Chestnut St. in Oneonta.
The dinner will be $11. A children’s menu will also be available.

Aerial yoga class to be offered at Y
DOWNTOWN — Aerial yoga will be offered to four interested participants from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Tuesdays from Nov. 5 to 25, at the Oneonta Family YMCA at 20-26 Ford Ave. in Oneonta.
According to a media release, participants will be shown new ways to reap the benefits of yoga, including easing hip and spinal cord tension, core and overall body strength improvement and better flexibility and balance. A combination of traditional yoga poses, Pilates and acrobatics with the use of a hammock will be taught. Aerial yoga, described as defying gravity, allows for the performance of various yoga poses that may be difficult to do on the ground, but easier in mid-air.
The cost will be $5 for Y members or $10. Registration is required.
