‘Hootenanny’ set at SUNY Oneonta
The Oneonta Concert Association and SUNY Oneonta will present an old-fashioned “Hootenanny,” a folk music jam session, on Thursday, featuring Bill Vanaver and Andy Teirstein of Vanaver Caravan. The music and dance company will perform a Pete Seeger tribute show Saturday presented by OCA.
The jam session, which is open to the public, invites audience members “to bring their banjos, guitars, fiddles, kazoos, and voices, and play and sing along.” The Hootenanny is free and open to the public. It will run from to 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in Room M201 of the Fine Arts building on the SUNY Oneonta campus.
