A six-week Living Healthy workshop for adults  and caregivers dealing with chronic conditions will begin Monday and run weekly from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Huntington Memorial Library at 62 Chestnut S. in Oneonta.

The workshop will be provided by the Rural Health Education Network of Schoharie, Otsego and Montgomery counties and sponsored by the Bassett Center for Rural Community Health. Participants will discover nutrition options and exercise choices, learn communication skills and make plans to live better and healthier as they are guided toward self-management.

Child care professionals, parents and other interested community members are invited to attend the “Quality Programming in Child Care” workshop on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The video conference will begin at 6:45 p.m. and end at 9:15 p.m. at the Delaware Opportunities offices at 35430 State Highway 10 in Hamden.
