Girls On The Run Otsego County will host its sixth annual family one-mile walk and 5K run/walk/trot for the community at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown.

The two fitness events are non-competitive and not timed. The goals of the community walk and 5K are to inspire, motivate and encourage people of all ages and abilities to celebrate who they are and their place in the world, organizers said.

Registration is free for the one-mile and 5k events for Otsego County GOTR members. A fee of $15 for individuals, $30 for a family of up to six or $100 for teams of 10 will be charged.

Registration forms can be found online at or at the Clark Sports Center, Sport Tech in Oneonta and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Registration will be taken at 11:30 a.m. the day of the event at the Clark Sports Center.
