James A. Rostohar has been awarded a Master of Arts degree in strategic communication and leadership degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. Rostohar graduated summa cum laude with high honors and participated in a hooding ceremony held on campus on Sunday, March 9.

Rostohar is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert G. Rostohar of Schenevus and is a 1977 graduate of Andrew S. Draper Central School in Schenevus. He is the director of communication and public affairs at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

Seton Hall recognizes advanced degree graduates with a Hooding Ceremony. The blue-and-white hood, representing the university's colors, is reserved for those who attain the highest academic degrees beyond the bachelor's degree. It is a part of academic regalia and denotes scholarly and professional achievements.

Kristin M. Lorence of South New Berlin, graduated in December from Clarkson University, Potsdam, with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology.

Gary Howard Wickham, a resident of Colliersville, has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College, based in Albany.
