West Kortright Centre, 49 W. Kortright Church Road in East Meredith, will host a children's music concert by Elizabeth Mitchell at 2 p.m. Saturday. The show proceeds will go to flood victims in Arkville and Sidney, as well as the local Head Start program.

Mitchell performs and records with her husband, Daniel Littleton, on guitar; 10-year-old daughter Storey Littleton on vocals and percussion; and violinist Jean Cook.

Her newest album, 2010's "Sunny Day," features collaborations with Levon and Amy Helm, Dan Zanes, Jon Langford of the Mekons and the Children of Agape Choir from South Africa.

"Sunny Day" won a Parents' Choice Gold Award and ranked second on Amazon Critics Best Children's Album of the Year list.

Mitchell also recently worked with Ziggy Marley on his 2009 release "Family Time."

She's appeared on NBC's "The Tonight Show," National Public Radio's "All Things Considered" and in the HBO documentary "A Family is a Family is a Family."
