Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown will host Death Cab for Cutie, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and the show starting at 8 p.m.
The band started out in Bellingham, Wa., in the late 1990s.
It gradually built up a reputation as indie rock heroes, known for gentle melodies and vulnerable, emotionally candid lyrics, according to a media release.
The group's latest album, "Codes and Keys," was released in 2011. They're known for songs such as "I Will Possess Your Heart" and "Meet Me on the Equinox," which was featured on "The Twilight Sage: New Moon" soundtrack.
Tickets are $39.50 to $54.50.
The following weekend is stocked with musical talent: Lyle Lovett on Friday, July 27, and Wilco on July 28.
