At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, The Grand Slambovians (AKA Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams) will take the stage of 6 On The Square is proud to present.
The band, which was named Hudson Valley Magazine’s “Band of the Year,” is led by songwriter Joziah Longo on vocals, guitar and harmonica, and joined by Sharkey McEwen on guitar and mandolin, Tink Lloyd on accordion, cello and more, and Eric Puente on drums, percussives.
In 1998, The Circus emerged from Sleepy Hollow, NY, and exploded upon the Hudson Valley music scene with its self-produced debut release, “A Good Thief Tips His Hat.” The quartet then began touring throughout the Northeast, then headlining major music festivals and venues across the U.S., Canada and U.K. and rapidly developing a fiercely loyal, all-ages following.

Singers, poetry readers, musicians and more are also invited to the next Open Mic Night at 7:30 p.m Thursday, Oct. 17. Three free open mics are held the third third Thursday of each month.
