Two bands playing Friday, Jan. 17, at the B Side Ballroom and Supper Club in Oneonta will donate the proceeds of their show to the Good Year Lake Polar Bear Jump, according to a media release. The show will start at 9 p.m.*
The 2020 jump, which would have been the 25th, was canceled because of an auto accident involving founders Brenda and Jamie Waters. They are healing and have announced the 25th jump will take place in 2021 instead. However, they are still taking donations to help families and children in need this year.
The Spectacular Average Boys will be reuniting for their first performance since 2017. They will be giving away a free copy of their 7” vinyl, “City of the Hills Vol. I.”
The Mopar Cams, an Oneonta based Rockabilly power trio, will also be performing. The band will be celebrating the release of their new album, “Winnebago.”
Tickets are $10 and all admission proceeds go to the Polar Bear Jump.
B Side is at 1 Clinton Plaza Drive in Oneonta. Go to bsideballroom.com/ for more information.
