Former Warriors will be returning to their alma mater this weekend as the Sidney Central School Alumni Association hosts its annual gathering.

Events began Friday with a golf tournament, barbecue and awards ceremony. Saturday's events include a pancake breakfast at the Sidney VFW on Main Street from 8 to 11 a.m.; the annual March of the Classes at 11:30 on the high school Alumni Field; and a social at the American Legion hall at 9 p.m. featuring live music by the Brotherhood Band.

Sunday will see the annual Alumni Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. at the Ed Roelie Nature Trail, followed by a luncheon and induction into the alumni Wall of Fame.

The lunch and induction ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with a social hour at the Sidney Firemen's Facility on River Street.

Included among the inductees for this year's evening will be Bill Davis, Class of '43. Although Davis will be unable to attend, the award will be accepted on his behalf by Scott Davis.
