Chenango, Delaware and Otsego counties are among several counties in southeastern New York under a flash flood watch until late tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Binghamton.

According to the NWS, heavy rains forecast for Monday make additional flooding possible for the region, but the warning added that "much uncertainty is still involved." More rains are expected later in the week as the remains of Tropical Storm Lee and Hurricane Katia reach the region.
