A Sidney woman faces a third-degree grand larceny charge for allegedly stealing $13,000 from an elderly couple in her care.
Jennifer L. Fogliano, 30, was arrested Friday in connection with the theft, state police at Sidney said.
Fogliano began working for a couple in Sidney as a home health care aid about two months ago and took the money over the span of those two months, troopers said.
She was released on her own recognizance and on Monday waived her right to a felony hearing, troopers said. The case will now be presented to a Delaware County grand jury, troopers said.

Greene man charged with loitering, petit larceny
OXFORD — A man who asked for gas money was arrested, Oxford police said Monday.
Beau W. Cerniglia, 25, Greene, was charged with second-degree scheme to defraud and petit larceny, both misdemeanors, and loitering, police said.
He was accused of obtaining cash from businesses and many other people over a three-day period after falsely saying he ran out of gasoline a half-mile away with his fiancee and 2-year-old son in the car, police said in a media release. But Cerniglia's car was parked in a driveway behind the businesses with no fiancee or child in his car.
Cerniglia was arraigned and sent to Chenango County jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail, police said.
