A Lowe's employee was arrested Monday, July 15*, and charged with stealing from the home improvement store in Oneonta.
Edward Fernly, 57, of Oneonta was charged with five counts of misdemeanor petit larceny, according to a media release from State Police.
Police say he took items from the store on five occasions, with a total value of $929. He was released on appearance tickets to the Oneonta Town Court.
