UHS Primary Care and UHS Pediatrics in Oneonta are changing names and combining office space, a media release said Monday.
As of Monday, the practice, under the new name UHS Oneonta, will be at 179 River St.
With the move, family physician Dr. Stanley Fox will continue to practice primary care. Family nurse practitioner Kelly Butler, who has a practice in the Oneonta, will join him, the release said.
Dr. Nick Tarricone, a pediatrician with a long-standing Oneonta practice, will join Fox and Butler.
He joined UHS last year, and his staff has a combined 38 years of pediatric experience, the release said.
Practice Manager Chris Seltzer said that relocating the practices will benefit patients by offering more convenience in a spacious, inviting environment.
In addition to pediatric and primary care for all ages, the new site will offer X-ray services and same-day acute visits.
The offices are moving, but telephone numbers are unchanged. For more information, call the family practice at 432-8477 or the pediatric practice at 433-3484.
UHS Pediatrics Oneonta has been at 32 Main St., and UHS Primary Care Oneonta has been at 5546 State Route 7.
UHS is a locally owned, not-for-profit, hospital and health care system serving the Binghamton area and the Interstate 88 corridor.
Founded in 1981, the organization includes Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich and Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton.
