6:11 p.m. Per the college website: "University Police have lifted the shelter in place. There is no immediate danger to the campus. The college will share more information by 7 p.m."

6:02 p.m. No injuries reported.

6 p.m. Police reported they were out with a suspect at the library.

5:47 p.m. Police were converging on the SUNY Onenonta campus shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a possible shooting threat.

The college posted a notice on its website, saying, "University Police has received notification that a current student believed to be on campus is threatening to shoot members of the campus community. Please shelter in place."
