COOPERSTOWN _ In Otsego County Court on Nov. 5 before Judge Brian Burns, Rebecca R. Johnson-Wood, 33, of Little Falls, pleaded innocent at arraignment to two counts of third-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud.
According to court records, the incidents occurred in the town of Unadilla, one count of grand larceny on March 23, 2009, one count or grand larceny on June 4, 2009, and scheme to defraud from March 23, 2009, until June 4, 2009.
Johnson-Wood was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court Dec. 3.
Also in court Nov. 5 before Burns:
"¢ An indictment was handed up charging Lisa M. VanBlarcom, 29, of Johnson City, with third-degree grand larceny.
She is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
"¢ An indictment was handed up charging Thomas E. Banta, 29, of Franklin, with three counts of driving while intoxicated. According to court records, the incidents occurred May 8 in Unadilla and July 3 in Otego.
Banta pleaded innocent at his arraignment, Friday. He was released on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court Dec. 17.
