A Richfield Springs man accused of discharging firearm near a state police station was arrested Wednesday.
Thomas F. Krietsch, 27, of 2584 County Route 26, was charged at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony, state police at Richfield Springs said.
Krietsch also was charged with illegal discharge of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, prohibited possession/use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest, troopers said in the blotter.
At 12:21 a.m. Wednesday, Krietsch fired the weapon in the vicinity of the trooper station on state Route 20 in Richfield Springs, the release said.
Krietsch was arraigned in Richfield Town Court and sent to Otsego County jail on bail, pending a court appearance at a later date.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by Otsego County deputies and Cooperstown village police.
