New York State Police are investigating alleged vandalism Tuesday at Walmart in Oneonta.
Walmart employees reported that three suspicious males vandalized the store’s fabric and craft aisle with craft paint around 7:14 p.m., according to Aga Dembinska, Troop C public information officer.
One of the males was dressed in dark pants and a black Nike sweatshirt, another was wearing dark shorts and a dark sweatshirt, and the third wore a flannel shirt, jeans and boots, Dembinska said. The three reportedly exited the store around 7:28 p.m. and left the scene in a gold pickup truck.
The employees reported that the same three males attempted to enter Office Max in the nearby Southside Mall about an hour later, but were unsuccessful and did not cause any damage, according to Dembinska.
The incident remains under investigation.
