Otsego County sheriff's deputies said two Worcester residents were arrested Wednesday on felony drug charges.
According to a media release, Jesse R. Wilson, 30, and Samone R. VanBuren, 29, were arrested after the execution of a search warrant at their home.
Deputies said they found more than an ounce of crack cocaine, a switchblade knife, suboxone, marijuana, more than $2,000 in cash and "multiple items of drug paraphernalia consistent with the use and sale of narcotics."
Wilson and VanBuren were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled Substance, a class B felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
They were arraigned in the town of Worcester Court and sent to the Otsego County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond. They are scheduled to return to court on Sept. 3.
