For electronic dance music fans, Christmas is coming early again this year in the form of the second Minus Zero Music Festival on April 7 and 8.
Stratton Mountain Resort in South Londonderry, Vermont, is hosting the festival for the second run with a bigger and louder bass-centric lineup featuring headliners Bassnectar, Zeds Dead and Griz.
Returning from the 2016 lineup, the festival welcomes back Vermont native Pierce Fulton, Voltran, Mike Chach, Bamboora, Dudenguy, Sam Allan and Anamoly. In addition to all of those great artists, we’ll all have the pleasure of seeing Marvel Years, Yookie, and Brightside on the slopes as well.
With expectations of a bigger crowd, the festival has added an additional stage, The Village Stage, which will be hosted by special guest Claptone. This stage will be running late-night, so make sure you have a lot of coffee.
Last year, Deadmau5, Jauz, Kaskade and Thomas Jack stormed the slopes of Stratton for the first-ever Minus Zero Festival. Other notable acts from Minus Zero 2016 included Gorgon City, ATTLAS, and Pierce Fulton.
This year's lineup took somewhat of a turn in respects to genre, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. With Bassnectar and Zeds Dead, you know you're sure to see a massive turnout. Griz and Illenium are also snowballing across the country, drawing enormous crowds.
Of course, you can be sure to see Bassheads galore, but you'll probably see just as many All Good Records logos. Illenium and Zeds Dead will be playing Saturday. Sunday, Griz and Bassnectar will be closing out the show.
