In Your Opinion: Delgado will fight to protect our health care

 I urge my fellow Americans in District 19 to vote for Antonio Delgado to be our next congressman.

He will fight for a health care system that protects those of us with “pre-existing conditions.” I am over 65 and I have pre-existing conditions. If his opponent, the incumbent John Faso, is re-elected, legislation will pass with Faso voting as he has in the past to make it more expensive for me and others like me to get the doctor care and medication we need to live.

But Antonio Delgado will fight for a health care system that gives us real coverage with premiums we can actually pay and deductibles that don’t break the bank. However, Faso’s plan is to put me and you with pre-existing conditions into completely unaffordable “high risk pools.”

I don’t want to have to choose between medicine and mortgage. Vote for Antonio Delgado on Nov. 6.
