Molly McLaughlin earned the shutout in goal as Marissa Campbell, Kayla Campbell and Valentina Temple scored in Franklin’s 3-0 win over Milford on Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Tri-Valley League girls soccer.

The Purple Devils got assists from Sumer Golinski and Maddy Ackley.

Cassidy Hall (three saves) and Gabriella Saggese (two saves) split time in goal for the Wildcats.

Franklin outshot Milford, 8-4, and finished with eight corners to the Wildcats’ three.

Lucia Temple, Leah Hyzer, Gretchyn Ackley, Haylee Taggart and Zoe Warren played well on defense for the Purple Devils, according to coach Gerald Laing.

Franklin (7-3-2, 6-2-1) will visit Morris at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3. 

Roxbury 8, Jefferson 0

Kylie DeMaio scored a hat trick as Roxbury rocked Jefferson to remain undefeated at 10-0.

Myah Johnston, Kat Jankowski, Ayla Vorisek, Kimora Brown and Alina Chojnowski had the other goals for the Rockets.

Courtnea DeMaio had a pair of assists and Brianna Cross had one.

The Rockets took 34 shots to Jefferson’s one, scoring six in the first half and two in the second.

Amber Cole made six stops for the J-Hawks, and Bryanna Meehan made one save for Roxbury.

The win backs up a 2-1 Roxbury win over hosts Hunter-Tannersville on Saturday, Sept. 28 in the final of the Hunter-Tannersville Tournament. Johnston had a pair of goals in the win.

The Rockets will visit South Kortright at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, for another Delaware League test.

South Kortright 7, Davenport 1

Three points from Sonia Reeves, two goals from Emily Andersen and a goal and assist each from Lila Shafer and Lauren Schmid led South Kortright.

The Rams jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first half before scoring twice more in the second. Kaylee Weaver notched an assist for SK.

The Wildcats’ only goal was scored by Jessica Zuill, with an assist from Justine Lubbers.

Shots and corners favored the Rams 21-4 and 7-0, respectively.

Chloe Davis recorded three saves for SK while Kayla Mace made 10 for Davenport.

South Kortright (9-3, 5-1) will host Roxbury at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

Stamford 1, Gilboa 1

Stamford and Gilboa played to a double-overtime deadlock in DL play.

Keeley VanValkenburgh scored for the Indians and Mary Andrews had the Wildcats’ goal.

Melanie Hoyt made six saves for Stamford while Chrissy Brandow stopped three shots for Gilboa.

The Wildcats had a 7-4 advantage in shots, and both teams took two corners.

Stamford (1-6-4) will visit Downsville at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

Hunter-Tannersville 4, Windham 1

Sundee Kroyer scored twice as Hunter-Tannersville outpaced Windham.

Kroyer was one of four Wildcats involved in a pair of goals. Sasha Gazoorian and Justin Iannelli each scored once and assisted once, while Peyton Legg dished out a pair of assists.

Abby Garrison scored for Windham as the Warriors attempted to overcome a 3-0 halftime deficit.

Rosalie Randolph made seven saves for H-T, and Casey Cole stopped 15 shots for Windham.

The Wildcats finished with a 22-15 lead in shots and a 7-3 edge in corners.

H-T (5-4-1, 4-2) will visit Jefferson at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

Sidney 4, Walton 0

Six players registered points for Sidney in a win over Walton.

Olivia Demott, Kayla McEwan, Bailey Gifford and Hannah Gray slotted the goals while Bryleigh Beauchat and Emma Constable tallied assists.

Sidney goalie Makayla Phillips made two saves for the shutout and Kora Young stopped seven shots for Walton.

Shots and corners favored Sidney (12-1, 4-1) by identical 11-2 marks.

Walton (4-7, 0-5) will host Deposit-Hancock at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.

Delhi 3, Unatego 1

Delhi took care of Unatego in four games in a Midstate Athletic Conference contest.

Lindsey Wright highlighted the Bulldogs’ win with five assists, six kills and five aces. Riley Davis recorded 11 digs and four aces, Anna Arehart had five kills, Stella Mueller posted six digs and Julia Baxter made one block for Delhi.

Unatego was led by Brooke Winchester (assist, kill, two aces), Alyssa Blanco (assist, kill, eight aces), Raven Henry (assist, two kills), Eske Reuter (kill) and Olivia Slawson (kill, two aces).

Delhi (4-3) will visit Sidney at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3.
