Dominick Hartwell led the pack for Sidney, shooting a five-over 41 as the Warriors defeated Oxford, 233-285, Thursday at Sidney Golf and Country Club.

Corbin Constable and Garrett Beckwith weren’t far behind for the Warriors, each finishing with a 43. Ryan Cole (47) and Carter DuMond (59) rounded out the scoring for Sidney.

Nick Cirello shot a 52 to lead Oxford. Dylan Conklin had a 53, Christian Paden finished with a 57, William Kelsey shot a 58 while Bryan Huggins had a 65.

Sidney (2-0) and Gilbertsville-Mount Upton head to Unadilla Valley on Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. match.

Hunter-Tannersville 194, Roxbury 195

Hunter-Tannersville and Roxbury both entered Thursday’s match with undefeated records, but it was the Wildcats (5-0) who remained perfect with a close win against the Rockets (4-1) at Colonial Country Club.

Grady Glennon and Kaeden Leach both shot a 47 for H-T, while Ernie Briskey had a 49 and Lyden Smith finished with a 51.

Trent Faulker-Squires earned medalist honors for Roxbury, shooting the lowest round of the match with a six-over 41.

Ian Walker concluded with a 46 for the Rockets while Peyton Proctor and Ryder Albano shot rounds of 54.

H-T hosts Margaretville on Wednesday at Colonial Country Club.

Chenango Forks 190, Oneonta 307

Cameron Sitts shot a 56 to lead Oneonta on Thursday at Chenango Valley State Park.

Sitts was followed by Seamus Catella (59), Max Geldsman (61), Kevin Kurkowski (68) and Ethan Dugan (72).

“We’ve got a very young team, very enthused though,” Oneonta coach Fred Shumway said. “We need some tweaking now and then, but we are just looking forward to the season.”

Chenango Valley’s Justin Wardell posted the match’s lowest score with a 38.

The Yellowjackets (0-2) host Seton Catholic at Oneonta Country Club on Sept. 6.

Andes/South Kortright 193,

Davenport 219, Windham 255

Connor Quarino’s 43 was the low score of the match as Andes/South Kortright topped Davenport and Windham at Ouleout Creek.

Quarino was followed by Tyler Hall (47), Lee Marigliano (51) and Emerson Commer (52), earning Andes/SK a team win after losing Wednesday despite a team score of 185 in a match against Windham.

Jordan Wamsley continued his steady start for Davenport, leading the Wildcats with a 44. The third-year player also plays soccer for Davenport.

“He’s a good athlete. I kind of had to bug him a bit to play this year, I kind of talked him into it, but I’m glad I did,” Davenport coach Jim Wolf said.

Ryan Zuill, who also plays soccer for the Wildcats, carded a 52. Zach Wykoff (60) and Nathan Amadon (63) filled out the remaining slots for Davenport.

Jason Hammel paced Windham with a 50, while Charlie Mulholland shot 57 and Shane Begley finished in 62.

Davenport visits Stamford on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Gilboa 183, Stamford DNF

Reese Chase shot a five-over 39 as Gilboa cruised past Stamford in Thursday’s match at Stamford Golf Club.

Robert Rion followed Chase with a 44, while Kara Dumas shot 45 and Ethan Halat totaled 55 for the Wildcats.

Stamford had only two players finished the round. Tyler Tierney carded a 50 and Darin Mullen had a 60.

The Indians (0-5) host Davenport on Tuesday at Stamford Golf Club.
