Mackenzie Stiles threw 17 strikeouts to lead undefeated Deposit to a 9-0 Midstate Athletic Conference win at Sidney on Monday.

Stiles continued her dominance on the mound, coming off a 22-strikeout victory over Bainbridge-Guilford. She threw a perfect game a week ago in Deposit’s win over Harpursville.

Kyra Martin went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs for Deposit, which opened with three runs in the first inning. Emma Walker also hit a double in the victory.

The defending Class D state champion Lumberjacks (5-0) will travel to Unadilla Valley for a league game at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Franklin 22, CV-S 21

Rachel Cobane hit a walk-off, two-run single to give Franklin a Tri-Valley League victory at home over Cherry-Valley Springfield.

Christina Worden led off the seventh inning with a home run for the Purple Devils, who trailed 18-21. Cobane went 2-for-5 with two of her five RBIs coming in the seventh inning to secure the victory. Lilly Bevilacqua hit a triple for Franklin, and teammate Macy Jordan had a double.

Zoey Horning went 4-for-5 with four RBIs for CV-S, which had doubles from Kendra McGovern and Emily Lincoln.

Franklin (1-1) will host Richfield Springs at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Unatego 15, Delhi 0

Hali Lucia hit her third triple in three games to lead host Unatego to a Midstate Athletic Conference victory over Delhi.

Mallory Frazier hit two RBI singles, one in the first and fourth innings, for Unatego, which also had a double from Karly Hill.

The Spartans (2-1, 2-1), hosts Sherburne-Earlville for a non-league game at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hunter Hitchcock hit a double for Delhi, which finished with three hits.

Afton 17, UV 0

Samantha Scholier went 3-for-3, at the plate, including a triple to lead host Afton to a league win over Unadilla Valley.

Winning pitcher Amanda Greenwood struck out eight and only allowed one hit for Afton (1-0, 1-0), which hosts Bainbridge-Guilford at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Greenwood also went 2-for-2, at the plate for Afton, which scored five runs in the first inning.

Hancock 6, Walton 4

Keirstin Kerwin and Tonia Copeland had two hits apiece but Walton fell to Hancock on the road.

Kylee Wiggans struck out seven and received the pitching loss for Walton (0-5), which visits Delhi at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mikayla Kravesky earned the pitching win for Hancock (1-1).
