Oneonta was one of 10 schools that participated in Monday’s Section IV Class C-2 Track and Field Meet. There were no team scores kept for the meet.

Yuliah Johnson and Gabriella Ragozzine were both double winners for the Yellowjackets, as Johnson took first place in the 100 and 200 meter runs while Ragozzine won both the discus and the shot put.

Also earning firsts for Oneonta were Tiffani Lincoln in the long jump and Stephen Baker in the pole vault.

The Oneonta girls took first in the 4x100 relay.

Elsewhere, Kevin McEwan was a double winner for Sidney with firsts in the discus and shot put. Sidney also received first-place finishes from Jonathan McNamara (high jump) and Emma Simmons (400).

Ben Gorrell and Jaiden Schrag both picked up victories for Unadilla Valley/Gilbertsville-Mount Upton, as each athlete came in first in their respective 400 hurdles races.

Delhi 5, Bainbridge-Guilford 0

The Delhi tennis team capped an undefeated season with a 5-0 victory over Bainbridge-Guilford on Tuesday.

Winning in singles for the Bulldogs (12-0) were Alex Haight, Hunter Sanford, and Brandon Bodo. All three won their matches in straight sets.

Delhi’s doubles pairings of Josh Baxter and Owen Haight, and Hallee Bodo and Tabor Reed also both won in straight sets.
