Hunter-Tannersville golf tallied a second win in as many days to start the season, defeating Stamford, 198-271, Thursday at Colonial Country Club.

H-T eighth-grader Grady Glennon carded the lowest score again for the Wildcats, totaling an eight-over 43 at Colonial's par-35 layout. He shot 39 Wednesday.

The Wildcats' next three players all scored lower than in Wednesday's win over Andes/South Kortright. Ernie Briskey cut four strokes for a 50, Lyden Smith deducted five strokes to shoot 51 and Dennis Houlihan also cut five strokes for a 54.

"It's a pleasant start," H-T head coach Chris Glennon said of his team's 2-0 record. "We are missing Kaeden Leach so that'll add some more firepower. But yeah it's a good start. Grady plays a lot of tournament golf so he is feeling the pressure of being No. 1, but it's good for him."

Tyler Tierney shot 62 to pace Stamford (0-2).

H-T visits Windham at Windham Country Club on Monday at 1 p.m.
