Oneonta State's women placed seventh out of 56 teams in the ECAC Championships on Thursday and Friday at Moravian College.
Sarah Timmons had the highest finish for the Red Dragons, placing second in the discus with a throw of 141 feet, 3 inches. Kacy Boburka contributed a fourth-place finish in the high jump and a fifth place in the triple jump. Boburka cleared 5 feet, 4 1/2 inches in the high jump. She covered 37 feet, 4 1/2 inches in the triple jump.
Liz Maziejka placed fifth in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing in 1 minute, 3.63 seconds. Lauren Brunetto was eighth in the 800 in 2:17.15.
The Red Dragons' 1,600 relay team of Liz Maziejka, Kristen Stein, Kristan Catanese and Brunetto finished sixth. It crossed in 3:58.95.
O-State finished with 25 points in a meet won by Ithaca with 80 1/2.
For SUNY Cobleskill, Africa Harper set a school record in the 400, crossing ninth in 58.82 seconds. Long jumper Veronica Henry had the Fighting Tigers' highest finish at eighth. She jumped 16 feet, 9 1/4 inches.
On the men's side, Grantley Mcleod and Taylor Drake placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in the decathlon for Cobleskill. Shaquell Windley finished 11th in the 400 in 49.64 and Conor Cashin was 26th in the 1,500 in 4:01.89.
Drake, Cashin, Windley and Marten Peterson placed 23rd in the 1,600 relay. They finished in 3:26.23.
O-State's Durell Cull placed seventh in the 100. He finished in 11.18. Sean Daly contributed a 10th in the 800, crossing 1:53.21 and Nick Pampena finished the 10,000 in 32:38.83 to place 17th.
