Anthony Salerno completed 3 of 5 passes for 131 yards and three touchdowns as host Delhi earned a 48-6 Section Four Football Conference victory over Deposit/Hancock on Saturday to clinch the Division VII title.

Though the Bulldogs had already clinched the top seed, they would have dropped into a share for the division title with Walton if they lost.

Jake Sackett caught two passes for 120 yards and two scores. Kevin O'Connell had the other touchdown reception.

Jack Fletcher rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (7-1, 6-0), who play Candor (7-1, 6-1 Division VIII) in a Section Four Class D semifinal at Union-Endicott's Ty Cobb Stadium at a time to be determined. The game will be at 1 or 4 p.m. Saturday.

Division VII runner-up Walton (5-3, 5-1) meets Tioga in the other semifinal.

Tom Telian contributed 109 yards on 12 carries and Collin Ellis finished with 86 yards on 12 carries for Delhi, which opened a 32-0 first-quarter lead.

Delhi won its division for the second straight season.

Brandon Miles threw for one touchdown and ran for another, but Unadilla Valley/Edmeston lost on the road in a Division V game.

Jimmy Miller rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries to lead the Blue Devils (8-0, 4-0), who received 130 yards rushing from Casey LaNave and 122 from Ryan Lamond.

Miles completed 7 of 8 passes for 87 yards, six going to Kody Homann, who finished with 71 yards. Homann scored on a 5-yard pass in the second quarter.

The Storm (4-4, 2-2) finish the season at 7 p.m. Friday against visiting Sherburne-Earlville of Section Three.

Chrisitan Howe contributed 64 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries for the Warriors (5-3, 5-1), who play Tioga (7-1, 6-1) in a Section Four Class D semifinal at Union-Endicott on Saturday at a time to be determined.

Jake Daly completed 13 of 31 passes for 159 yards and three touchdowns for Seton (4-4, 2-4).

Dylan Hornbeck, Mike Beers, Shane Hammond and Fred Babcock also had rushing touchdowns for Walton, which received a passing score from Dalton Kaminsky to Dan Bowker.

Jeff Mitchell scored on a 88-yard pass from Anthony Heer in the third quarter as second-seeded Onondaga snapped a 7-all tie to earn a Section Three Football Conference Class D quarterfinal victory at home.

Alec Silvera scored on a 3-yard run and converted the point after to give the Redskins (4-3) a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Tigers (7-1) responded when Heer scored on a 12-yard run and Mike Burlin's kick tied it in the first quarter.

Silver finished with 53 yards on 23 carries for the Redskins, who received 45 yards on 10 carries from Coley Graham.

Graham also completed 6 of 17 passes for 86 yards. Jeremiah Ford caught four passes for 72 yards.
