Microni, Llewellynnotch SBA win
Frank Microni and Steve Llewellyn won the Susquehanna Bass Association’s Art and Nate VanSteenburg Memorial Classic on Oct. 19 and 20 at Otsego Lake.
Llewellyn and Microni totaled a weight of 28.22 pounds over two days to claim first place.
Greg Microni and Ron Thomas took second with a total of 25.26 pounds, and Robert Walker was third at 23.52 pounds.
Monte Westcott and Sean George were fourth at 22.45 pounds, and Matt Ford and Rich Ford combined to take fifth at 22.19 pounds.
Greg Microni pulled in the event’s largest catch, a 4.85-pound largemouth bass, during the first day of competition.

Soccer club planningVenice to Munich trip
The Cooperstown Soccer Club will hold an information meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in the cafeteria of the Cooperstown Elementary School at 21 Walnut Avenue in Cooperstown. Representatives from CSC and Challenger Sports will be on hand to discuss a proposed soccer trip to Venice, Italy and Munich, Germany, which is planned for spring break 2021.
This is a preliminary meeting, and no immediate commitment is required.
The Cooperstown Soccer Club is also looking for board members and coaches for its 2020 seasons.
