Brendan Brundage, Stone Pellegrino, Chris Tracz and Parker Haberstroh each hit a double for the Outlaws on Wednesday, but Oneonta fell to visiting Albany, 7-5.

In 4.1 innings, starting pitcher Cal Lawrence allowed 10 hits, three earned runs and struck out two for the Outlaws. In 3.2 innings of relief, losing pitcher Matt Deans allowed one earned run, four walks and struck out two. 

After trailing, 4-0, entering the third inning, Oneonta rallied to tie the score by the bottom of the fifth inning. 

The Dutchmen countered by scoring a run in the sixth and two runs in the seventh to take the lead for good. In 2.1 innings of relief, Albany's Sean Boyle allowed two hits, one run and four walks. 

Oneonta scored a run in the sixth, but were held scoreless the rest of the game. Oneonta has now lost four straight games. 

The Outlaws (6-16) vist the Amsterdam Mohawks, who have won 10 straight games, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. 


Oneonta 3, CF 0

John Mikolaicyk, who struck out seven, allowed one hit and walked four, threw a 115-pitch complete game to lead the Oneonta Green Wave past visiting Chenango Forks Post-1194 on Wednesday.

''He's one of our top pitchers,'' said Oneonta coach Mike Jester. The victory was Mikolaicyk's first of the season. Dan Crowningshield, who took the loss, had Chenango Fork's only hit of the game with a fourth inning single. 

Ryan Packard and Sean MacInerney each had two hits for Oneonta. Keaton Mark had an RBI single in the third inning for Oneonta, and teammate Tanner Beang hit an RBI triple in the fourth inning. 

Oneonta (10-5) next visits Fredrick, Maryland for a tournament. The Green Wave will open the tournament against Wilmington, Delaware at 8 p.m. on Friday.  On Saturday, Oneonta will play Laurel, Maryland at 10 a.m. On Sunday, Oneonta will play Cecil, Maryland at 10:30 a.m. and Columbia, Maryland at 1 p.m.
