Soccer Hall of Fame Cup fell short
I'm writing on behalf of parents, grandparents and friends of the Morris Central School boys and girls soccer teams.
At The Daily Star Hall of Fame Cup games that were held Sept. 15-16, we were charged $7 per person to attend the games and the scoreboards were not even working. What's up with that? They have them there but don't use them, or is that only for the bigger teams?
When we purchased parking tickets for $5 on Saturday, we were told they were good for Sunday, too. Then, on Sunday, we were charged $5 to park again.
Monday's paper says, "Morris loses twice." Why wouldn't they when they are playing schools three times their size? Last year when they beat a bigger school, nothing was even in the paper about that game. What is the point of playing the small schools against the bigger schools anyway?
