Walton scored the final 36 points to defeat Bainbridge-Guilford, 36-6, Friday, Oct. 4.

The win gives the Warriors (4-1) four straight and the opportunity to move up from the seventh position in the New York State Sportswriters Rankings for Class D.

The Bobcats struck first as Haiden Burns connected with Gabe Sherman for an 80-yard touchdown pass and a 6-0 lead.

Walton responded with an eight-yard run by Kaylieb Stanton later in the period to tie it at six after one.

Stanton put the Warriors ahead for good with 9:17 left in the second with a nine-yard score. Nick Lamoreaux’s three-yard run just before the end of the half made it 22-6 at the break.

Dylan Jacob found Morgan Condon for a 47-yard score in the third as Walton stretched its lead to the final tally of 36-6 after three quarters.

Jacob finished 6-for-9 through the air for 123 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 57 yards on eight carries.

Skylar Pesout led the Warriors ground attack with 70 yards on seven touches. Deacon Phoenix had 50 yards on five carries.

Cody Ray caught three passes for Walton, covering 48 yards, and Condon caught two balls for 52 yards and a score.

Parker Finch and Trent Thornton led the Bobcats rushing attack, each with six yards. Burns was 5-for-19 through the air with 133 yards, one score and three interceptions.

Deposit-Hancock 44, Unatego 36

Deposit/Hancock scored 24 unanswered points to come back and defeat Unatego

The Spartans led by 16 as late as the third quarter after Leo Temple scored from 29 yards for a 36-20 lead.

D/H cut the deficit to 36-28 before the fourth, and Tyler Santamaria threw touchdowns to Wyatt Jacobs of six and 49 yards to extend the final deficit.

Santamaria finished 8-for-10 through the air with three scores and 185 yards. All three touchdowns went to Jacobs in the 24-0 run. Jacobs totaled six catches for 157 yards.

Dominic Wormuth paced the Bobcats with 164 yards on 18 carries.

Temple paced the Unatego ground game with 167 yards and two scores. Quarterback Miles Mohrien had 61 yards on 17 carries, and Caden Clow covered 76 yards on 17 rushes.

Mohrien also had 35 yards through the air, going 3-for 6 with one score, an 18-yard pitch to Clow.

Greene 35, Delhi 15

Greene raced out to a 35-7 halftime lead as Delhi dropped its second straight game.

The Trojans went up, 14-0, after one as qaurterback Nate Erickson ran in from 38 yards before Josh Titus returned a fumble 68 yards.

Delhi answered with a score as Hunter Sanford caught a 42-yard touchdown from Mike Grizwald, but Erickson ran in three more time before the break.

The lone score of the second half came as Grizwald threw 24 yards to Tyler Bruce in the fourth quarter.

Grizwald finished 5-for-13 through the air for 125 yards and two scores with three interceptions. Bruce caught three balls for 81 yards and Sanford caught two for 44, each with a touchdown.

Bryce Bracchy led the Bulldogs on the ground, carrying eight times for 52 yards. Warren Pardee totaled 50 yards on 16 carries.
