Emma Walley finished with game highs for aces and kills as eighth-seeded Walton erased a two-set deficit to defeat visiting nine seed Delhi, 3-2 (27-29, 17-25, 25-13, 25-21, 26-24), Monday, Nov. 4, in a first-round match of the Section IV Class D volleyball tournament.

Walley totaled six aces and 16 kills along with two blocks and seven digs for the Warriors. Hailey Gardner had four aces, five kills and 16 assists for Walton.

Keilie Dones had six kills and four assists while Molly McClennon notched four aces and Jamie Klein had eight digs for Walton.

Riley Davis led Delhi (8-7) with six aces and 10 digs. Kayleigh Verspoor had four kills, Lindsey Wright recorded five assists and Julia Baxter racked up five blocks.

Walton (10-5) will visit top seed Candor in the quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.
